“I had this very interesting Twitter conversation with somebody, who I thought was a friend, who was just bemoaning screaming brats in a café and came up with this suggestion they should have separate cafes – one for ‘normal people’ and one for those with sproglettes”.
Liz Council, Performance Artist
Segregation for mothers, is just one of the themes, that performance artist Liz Council, tackled in her performance ‘I tattooed my baby’.
Part of a familiar theme that freelance mums, often face with juggling work/life balance. Liz took the theme that step further and produced a show, looking at some of the issues mums face – complete with her own baby daughter on the stage!
Contains extracts from the show and voxes from the audience.
