Business networking events for women in Swansea

Croeso, mums in business! Join our Swansea Hub for monthly, in-person business networking events on the Mumbles promenade. The group enjoy a picturesque walk followed by a friendly coffee.

Our Swansea Hub and Netwalk Events

Meet the women of our Swansea Hub in person for monthly networking in Mumbles. Our child-friendly netwalks are a unique, informal way to connect with other mums in business, be outside, and make genuine connections to help your business grow.

Fresh air and fresh thinking for women wanting to network

Our Swansea Hub does its netwalk along the seafront in beautiful Mumbles. Located at the Western end of Swansea Bay, and not too far from Swansea city centre on the gateway to Gower, Mumbles is an ideal location for Freelance Mums from Swansea and surrounding villages. The women of the Swansea Hub meet at Croeso Lounge on Mumbles Road, stroll along the promenade for a ‘pier selfie’, and then head to Croeso for a hot or cold drink.

The netwalk route is flat, and ideal for buggies and scooters if you have little ones with you. Our netwalking hubs are led by female business owners, for female business owners. In Swansea, our Freelance Mum hosts are Stacey Bramhall of Impress PR and Ella Slee of Functional Fitness.

The Rainbow Rule

Where there’s a rainbow, there’s…coffee on us!

Yep, if you see a rainbow while on your netwalk, we’ll buy the coffee.

More than a selfie

On all our netwalks, we try and pause for a moment to take a group photo and a *selfie. This gives you some easy material for your next social post and will help consolidate those new connections.

In Mumbles, the focus for our photos is Mumbles Pier. We don’t walk along the pier but do our best to get it in the background! So, bring your best selfie smile for your ‘Pier Selfie’!

*Selfies are always optional and not the main event! So, please never feel you or your child need to be in a photo if you don’t wish to be.

...and don't forget our whole network weekly coffee mornings.

“I’ve been attending FM netwalks since Faye launched Freelance Mum and have always got so much out of it. Working with Faye is so inspirational and the support and encouragement you get from other Freelance Mum members is truly uplifting. So, I can’t wait to offer that support to self-employed mums in Mumbles, Gower and across Swansea. Hopefully, we will be the first of many Welsh FM hubs!”
