Our hubs are welcoming pockets of the Freelance Mum community. You can connect locally and in person on our signature netwalks, or online through The Digital Hub.
UK Hubs
You’re welcome to travel to any of our hubs, or simply join us for our weekly online coffee mornings.
Local hubs and netwalks are hosted by local member leaders, known as Freelance Mum hosts. They lead the netwalks and help grow the Freelance Mum community in their area.
Local hubs regularly invite guest speakers to share their insights on subjects we know matter to our members, such as:
- How to access grant funds
- How to create ‘calendar calm’
- Neurodiversity in business
- Sustainability in business
- Marketing for freelancers
We’ve also been inspired by motivational women who simply share their story. So far, we’ve been lucky enough to be joined by:
- Michelle Ovens, CBE, Founder of Small Business Britain, the UK’s leading advocate for small businesses
- Rachel McDonald, Health IDSVA (Independent Domestic & Sexual Violence Advisor)

Online events
Freelance Mum online coffee mornings happen every Wednesday, 10:30 – 11:15, GMT on Zoom.
They’re a chance to chat, connect with other FMs across the hubs. You can share successes and challenges in your business and life.
Lunch and Learn
Lunch & Learn is neatly designed to slot into your day so you can attend sessions designed for professional and personal development.
Don’t worry if you can’t join live, each session is recorded and uploaded to our online community, The Mothership.

No hub, no worries
We’re community builders. We’re about connecting people, online and in person, and giving women in business the resources and support they need to develop their businesses.
So, we’re always open to setting up new hubs. Freelance Fairies follow the tried and tested netwalk template, and all networking activities en route are prepared in advance by Faye.
