Why women love networking events in Bath
There’s no doubt about it: Bath’s networking scene is on the up. It’s buzzing, it’s bloomin’ ace! Why? Because Bath, as a city, has so much to offer, and because it’s brimming with entrepreneurial women who have so much to give.
Bath
Bath is a growing hub for start-ups and big businesses, and a tourism hotspot. Notoriously a family-friendly city, there’s always lots going on. In Bath, you get the fun and convenience of city life and the safety and support of a close-knit community.

From connections to lasting friendships
Nurturing trust and genuine connections through regular networking over time lays the foundations for lasting relationships. Our Bath Hub has a mix of established members who’ve been with us for years and new FMs who’ve joined us more recently. We pride ourselves on giving everyone a warm welcome—most people who try us out tend to come back!
Freelance Mum networking events in Bath
At Freelance Mum, we network, but we also love to netwalk. Our signature netwalks are designed to be a relaxed, informal way for mums in business to network (with or without their children) while getting fresh air. In Bath, you can enjoy the countryside setting while only being a stone’s throw from the city.
Our Freelance Mum Bath Hub has members from Bath, Bristol, Keynsham and Saltford. Their netwalk takes place on a working farm on Duchy of Cornwall land, on the outskirts of Bath. Children can enjoy seeing animals (sometimes even lambs and piglets!) and there is a lovely park for after the walk. There is also a café and farm shop.
Don’t forget, Freelance Mum membership also includes all our online events. You can get together virtually with Bath members and members from across all our hubs, every Wednesday morning, at our online coffee mornings.

Don’t worry about parking, or Park & Ride…
The Freelance Mum Bath netwalk is strategically located near The Globe roundabout and has parking onsite, which means you don’t have to face the busyness and parking difficulties of the City Centre. Some of our Bath FM members share lifts, so it’s always worth asking on the WhatsApp group if you’d like to carshare.
While you’re there, enjoy Bath!
Bath has plenty to do, with or without your children. If you’re having a day to yourself, there are shops, cafes and gardens to wander. Why not arrange a 1:1 with another member to help build those meaningful connections?
If you’ve got children with you, Royal Victoria Park has a fantastic play area and is a great place to burn off some energy or enjoy a picnic. Parade Gardens is also worth visiting, but please note there is a small entrance fee.
Freelance Mum is about more than finding new business. It’s a safe space to give and get support, offload, feel a sense of belonging and raise each other up.
