Spotlight on our seaside hub: Unique networking in North Somerset

Freelance Mum networking events are designed to be different. Just like the feeling you get when you look out across a glassy sea view, networking with us is refreshing, confidence-boosting, and will give you a sense of freedom to go for your goals.

The power of a good view

The North Somerset netwalk overlooks Clevedon Marine Lake, with a backdrop of the Severn Estuary, picturesque headlands and Clevedon’s iconic pier. Whether it’s warm and sunny, or a blustery blow-the-cobwebs-away sort of day, you can’t fail to be glad to be by the sea in Clevedon.

Our surroundings can transform our mindset, inspiring a fresh perspective, a sense of well-being, and gratitude. That’s the power of our Clevedon netwalk: Here, you can connect with like-minded women in a magnificent place with a stunning sea view, and leave feeling a whole lot better for it.

The right community in a beautiful place

We are firm believers that being outdoors and connecting with nature enhances well-being and nurtures authentic, lasting relationships. It’s those relationships that lead you to a successful business.

Our North Somerset Hub is a strong group of established freelancers with years of experience, and new FMs at the beginning of their business journeys. Together they are a welcoming community of women who support each other to grow successful businesses through sharing advice, challenges, and a healthy dose of sea air.

A sea view and the right community have the power to boost well-being, increase confidence and help your business grow. Try us out netwalks at all Freelance Mum Hubs are included in our 30-day trial.

The North Somerset Hub meets for its netwalk on the first Thursday of the month at the Salthouse Fields Carpark on Clevedon seafront. Clevedon is close to junction 20 of the M5, so is ideal for FMs coming from North Somerset, Somerset, and Bristol. The group walk along the seafront to the pier and then enjoy refreshments in The Little Harp. The walk is flat, with panoramic sea views.

Make a day of it

Clevedon has so much to offer, so why not make a day of your Freelance Mum netwalk? You can brave a cold dip in the Marine Lake, take your little ones to the play park on the seafront, or search for pebbles and sea glass on the beach. Clevedon Pier was described by Sir John Betjeman, as “the most beautiful pier in England”. For a small fee, you can buy an annual ticket to access the Pier whenever you visit.

Face challenges together

As mums in business, we face unique challenges every single day: The balancing act, the late nights, and the constant juggle of family and work. But when women come together on common ground, when we find the right community in a beautiful place, we are unstoppable.

Freelance Mum is about more than finding new business. It’s a safe space to give and get support, offload, feel a sense of belonging and raise each other up.
