This is a FREE event for Freelance Mum members and their families. Lets do our bit to help tackle climate emergency. The Woodland Trust says the nation needs to plant 1.2bn trees to get to carbon zero. Lets be part of the plant out!
On Monday 15th February, Freelance Mum members are invited to come and plant a tree at Tractors & Cream in Somerset. Come and enjoy choosing your tree and making a sign to remember it’s yours.
Vicki at Tractors & Cream has planted over1200 trees and hedges on their beautiful glamping site since they started the business. So she’ll be teaching the best way to plant trees to protect them from animals that may want to chomp them!
Plus we’ll also be joined by Rachel, who ran Forest School, at The Freelance Mum Micro Business Retreat. You can play on play equipment, soak up the surroundings and enjoy tea, coffee, hot chocolate, squash and cakes while you’re there.
BYO packed lunch, if you think little ones (or you!) will get hungry, or there is a bakery a short walk away. Plenty of parking on arrival – please make your way to the dance studio.
