As I’m sure you all know, on May 25th, GDPR comes into play – which means the way we handle data is going to change. It doesn’t need to be big & scary, but it does mean as small business owners (and consumers) we need to be aware and compliant with a few things.
Taking this all into account, Karen Cook, from Plan and Grow has designed a GDPR Workshop, tailored for Freelance Mum.
She is a qualified marketer, with experience working as a regulatory marketing manager – in short, she knows her onions. She is a highly energy creative thinker who is able to build clear structure around ideas and plans within a business and qualified through The Chartered Institute of Marketing and the Cambridge University Programme for Sustainability Leadership.
Aside of all that, she’s blooming lovely and we like her style!
Karen will be putting together a 2 hour slide led session and then allow an hour for questions – asking each person to ask one question each up front.
There will then be time for extra questions at the end, making it a 3 hour workshop. There would also be a handout.
To note, Karen isn’t a solicitor so can’t give legal advice but can give (backed up with source info) her understanding of what the legislation means in day to day business.
Tickets include bottomless tea, coffee and pastries – to help you digest all the information 🙂
This is a one off workshop for Freelance Mums, so make sure you’re part of it!
